Government Teacher Mrs.Spicer

A well-known teacher, Mrs. Spicer, has been teaching for two years as a Government teacher at Old Mill High School.

Prior to her 6 years of teaching, Spicer attended St Mary’s College (Maryland). While attending, she received her degree in Political Science. Wanting to pursue a career in education, she went back to school and earned her education credits.

Before her chapter at Old Mill, Spicer taught at Phoenix Academy in Annapolis. While there for four years, she taught Algebra and U.S History. Now at Old Mill for two years she has taught only Government to sophomores.

“I left Phoenix because I wanted the opportunity to work at a comprehensive school,” Spicer said.

For future plans Spicer will be closing her chapter as a Old Mill teacher. Spicer has accepted a new teaching job at Southern High School where she will continue to be a Government teacher. She plans to keep teaching and being a positive influence on her students.

“I plan on being a teacher for many more years,” Spicer said.
