Honorable Mention: Vision. The keeper of the Mind Stone, he just missed making the Top 10 list.

10) Hawkeye

The sharpshooter of the Avengers, dangerous with his signature bow and arrows, Clint Barton has always been a reliable member in the Avenges’ battles. He tops off the list at number 10.

9) Captain Marvel

With a late entry to the MCU storyline, she doesn’t have a lot of support from long-time fans. She undeniably has strong powers, that were showcased in her movie: Captain Marvel (2019). Captain Marvel enters the list at number 9.

8) Ant-Man

From the size of an atom of the mass of a mountain. Ant-Man had two standalone films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe including Ant-Man (2015) and Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018). Ant-Man checks in at number 8.

7) The Hulk

You won’t like him when he’s angry. Dr. Bruce Banner became the Hulk after gamma radiation exposure. His combination of brains and brawn make him a formidable foe and puts him number 7 on the list.

6) Black Widow

An expert in many different types of combat, cybersecurity, and everything in between. Natasha Romanova’s elite skills put her at number 6.

5) Captain America

America’s super soldier. After being used in military testing during World War 2, his super-strength, outstanding stamina, unbeaten intelligence. He has many movies under his name in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), and Captain America: Civil War (2016). This long-tenured Avenger is a definite fan-favorite and placed at number 5.

4) Black Panther

King T’Challa of Wakanda. His speed, endurance, reflexes, and agility make him a strong opponent in any fight. Another factor of Black Panther’s strength is the support of his kingdom. His people are proud Wakandans and are willing to defend their land at any given time. T’Challa lands number 4 on the list.

3) Spider-Man

The teenager from Queens, New York. He was invited to the Avengers by Iron Man at the end of his film Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017). His spider powers including strength, resilience, the ability to climb on walls, web-slinging, and his spidy-sense. He is even more dangerous with his special Iron-Spider suit. With Spider-Man: Far From Home coming soon, there is a lot to be excited about, and puts Peter Parker at spot number 3.

2) Thor

The Asgardian god of thunder. This unworldly Avenger is unmatched to anybody from Earth. His hammer Mjolnir can only be moved by those who are worthy, and not even the Hulk can make it budge. With three movies in his name: Thor (2011), Thor: The Dark World (2013), and Thor: Ragnorok (2017). The Norse myth makes a notable presence at number 2 on the list.

1) Iron Man

The leader of the Avengers. The charisma, brains, and skills make him nearly unstoppable, especially with a fully functioning suit of armor. There aren’t enough words to describe Iron Man and his presence in the story lines of the saga. He’s more than a Black Sabbath song, with a trilogy in his name: Iron Man (2008), Iron Man 2 (2010), and Iron Man 3 (2013). Tony Stark has proven why he deserves this spot as the top Avenger.
