MILLERSVILLE, MD- After a lengthy season, the Old Mill Varsity Volleyball team lost an away game against Meade high school, ending their time in the playoffs and in the 2018 Fall season.

On November 2nd, Old Mill lost 3-1 at an away game at Meade. The team has credited their loss to the fact that the volleyball team this year was made of mostly new sophomores and freshmen, however they also state that the team is very fun and hard-working and that next year will be very successful.

The team also said that by the playoffs the team had been worn out by the long season, that the team did not perform well but bonds were strong, and setter Sheila Kiernan testified that they were not the best, but they played well, and the experience was enjoyable.

Ms. Hayden, coach of the volleyball team, had to say “The team this year was the happiest and most supportive team I have ever come across.”
